The PSI - Prototype Simulate Interact - project is an open-source, multi-platform, cooperative project whose goal is to develop a support tool for prototyping and evaluating cockpits and dashboards. Source code for the entire project is available and licensed under the GNU General Public License.
The project aims at creating a common tool that provides the required framework for prototyping, simulation and evaluation of cockpits and dashboards, and that is well-adapted, easy-to-use for the various user profiles intervening when using a prototyping tool.
We hope that this project will be useful and interesting to many people coming from various fields of study. We also hope that this project will benefit from your ideas and your interest in contributing.
The first public release of PSI is now available. This version is a first preview of what will be possible with PSI. It currently doesn’t have any GUI and the component library is quite small, but the work is just beginning !
You can create some components in Java, arrange them with a XML file and simulate their behaviour thanks to FlightGear.

We are proud to release the first version of the source code of PSI.
It is in a very early stage of development, but it can still give an overview of will be achievable !
You can access to the source code on sourceforge.net
